History in #Hashtags

Eighth grade Media students read a nonfiction book on a historical event or culture of their choosing. When they finished their hashtag was suppose to sum up the meaning or major concept about the information from the book.

Students chose their own topics, created a book list from Destiny, and utilized personal resources to decorate their chosen area to promote their selection.

Fall Book Fair Displays

Our Fall book fair had a pirate theme. To help build anticipation, media students designed their own personal jolly roger to be displayed during the book fair previews. 

Teen Read Week 2016

Visitors to the media center the week of October 9-15 were asked why they like to read. They recorded their responses on a piece of construction paper to share in this slideshow.
