This book was interesting with very intelligent characters. It was set in a time that the "Republic" was at war with the "Colonies." It had elements of Hunger Games in that there was clear division in classes and the government seemed to make a lot of decisions based on maintaining control over these different sections of people instead of the will or good of them.
The two main characters were very interesting and served as a great contrast to one another. They were so different in the beginning, but by the end, we discover how much they actually have in common.
This book is about not taking things at face value. Always think for yours and keep your eyes and ears open!
